Man who cut Ojai trees is killed in LA A Los Angeles man who got into legal trouble for cutting down more than 300 trees on his Ojai property in 2001 was shot and killed by his brother last week, police said. William Kaddis, 63, had an argument on July 16 with his younger brother, Edward Kaddis, which ended with Edward fatally shooting his brother in the head, according to the Los Angeles Police Department. 3 alleged gang members arrested on suspicion of armed robbery Three alleged gang members were arrested Tuesday evening on suspicion of dragging a man into an alley and robbing him at gunpoint, police said. Adrian Morales, 27, Jesus Guerrero, 28, and Daniel Castaneda, 24, were arrested shortly after they allegedly robbed an Oxnard man in an alley behind the El Rio Market at 2765 Vineyard Avenue about 6:40 p.m., Oxnard police said in a prepared statement.
